Hurricane Force Winds Possible In SE Wyoming Next Two Days
The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service says wind speeds of over 75 miles per hour are possible in southeast Wyoming over the next few days.
The National Weather Service considers wind speeds over 74 miles per hour to be category 1 hurricane-force. High wind warnings and watches have been posted for much of the region, according to the agency:
Did you miss the wind? Well, it makes its return on Tuesday as we expect strong wind gusts in the wind prone corridors of southeast Wyoming through Wendesday. It has been a whole two weeks between our previous high wind headlines, if you can believe it. High Wind Warnings and Watches have been issued to reflect this.
