The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service has issued High Wind warnings and watches for parts of southeast Wyoming today.
The agency posted the following on its website:
High Wind Watches for Arlington and Bordeaux have been upgraded to High Wind Warnings from noon until 9PM today. These two areas will likely see wind gusts to 60 mph as a cold front approaches from the northwest. The I-80 Summit and eastern foothills along Interstate 80 remain in a High Wind Watch. A more brief period of strong winds are possible in these two zones late this afternoon and early evening. Strong west to west northwest winds will create a increased risk for blowoffs and blow overs for those driving light weight and high profile vehicles. This includes those towing camper trailers.
