High Wind Warning Issued For Southeast Wyoming
The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service has issued the following weather statement on Monday, April 2, 2018:
"Strong winds are expected to make a return to much of southeast Wyoming today, and possibly even the western Nebraska Panhandle on tonight. Arlington and Elk Mountain will be the first area to experience high winds from late this morning through the afternoon and evening hours. High winds will become more widespread across south-central Wyoming during the afternoon hours. By early this evening, winds are expected to increase further east along the I-80 corridor between Cheyenne and Sidney. Winds will remain strong for most areas through early Tuesday morning. Strong wind gusts to 60 mph will increase the risk of roll-overs for high profile and light trailers (such as camping trailers)."
