Blue Federal Credit Union, the City of Cheyenne, Freedom's Edge Brewing Co. and Cheyenne Regional Medical Center are gearing up for Bike Week.

This year's free festivities get rolling on Tuesday, June 25, with breakfast in the hospital's courtyard starting at 6:30 a.m.

On Wednesday -- Bike to Work Day -- Blue will host breakfast from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. at their branch on the corner of 7th Avenue and Central Avenue.

The final event -- Bikes, Brats & Beers -- takes place on Thursday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Freedom's Edge, and will feature live entertainment from the Country Club Band.

Cyclists will get a free ticket good for raffle prizes, and Blue and city staff will be serving up a beer and bratwurst dinner.

Blue spokeswoman Michele Bolkovatz says a record number of people are expected to participate in the events, and she reminds cyclists to ride safely and obey all traffic laws.
