Get Ready For Snow, Colder Temps In SE Wyoming This Weekend
While southeast Wyoming residents can expect unseasonably warm and mild weather the next couple of days, changes are headed our way this weekend.
That's according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service. The agency posted the following on its website:
While you are out enjoying the nice warm and dry weather this week, be prepared as changes are on the way this weekend. Uncertainty at this time remains high with the next upcoming storm, especially with exact amounts and precipitation type, but here is the latest information. Chances for precipitation will be increasing Friday afternoon into the evening leading to widespread precipitation for much of Saturday. Areas west of I-25 will see mostly snowfall with impactful accumulations possible. At this time, it appears the Nebraska Panhandle will be a little warmer leading to mostly rain, but snow could mix in, especially on Sunday, when colder air arrives. Light precipitation will continue through Sunday night before tapering off. Stay tuned for the latest information as the forecast evolves!
