The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
  East central Albany County in southeastern Wyoming...
  Western Laramie County in southeastern Wyoming...

* Until 545 PM MDT.

* At 248 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms in northwest and west Laramie County that will
  approach the City of Cheyenne. This will cause urban and small
  stream flooding in the advisory area. Up to two to three inches of
  rain have already fallen in rural parts of the county and this
  will approach the City of Cheyenne over the next hour. Residual
  flooding impacts could remain over the next several hours.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Cheyenne, South Greeley, Hillsdale, Federal, North Crow Campground,
  Iron Mountain, Ranchettes, Warren AFB, Frontier Park, North
  Cheyenne, Whitaker, Horse Creek, Warren Af Base, Fox Farm-College
  and South Greeley High.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
