Eastbound I-80 Now Closed From Laramie to the Nebraska State Line
Eastbound Interstate 80 is now closed from Laramie to the Nebraska state line, the Wyoming Department of Transportation says.
The 43-mile stretch from Laramie to Cheyenne is closed due to a crash.
As of 6:30 p.m., WYDOT estimated it would take crews six to eight hours to get the lanes back open.
The stretch from Archer (exit 370) to the Nebraska state line has been closed all day due to winter conditions, and there is no estimate as to when it might reopen.
Interstate 25 remains open, but a no unnecessary travel advisory is still in effect between exit 29 (Whitaker Road) and Chugwater.
Drivers are encouraged to call 511 or go to wyoroad.info for the latest road conditions and closure information.
