
Wanted Cheyenne Transient Arrested After Calling 911 to Say He Was Out of Gas
A 65-year-old Cheyenne transient is facing a felony charge after allegedly committing check fraud.
According to a booking sheet, police were dispatched to the Walmart at 2032 Dell Range Blvd. on Sunday, Jan. 12 for a welfare check.

Welfare Check Leads to Warrant Arrest
Police say Mark Alan Vigen was calling 911 to say he was out of gas.
Officers arrived and found Vigen had a warrant out of Laramie County Circuit Court for felony check fraud, a crime punishable by up to 10 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both.
Police say Judge Sean C. Chambers signed the warrant on Dec. 13, 2024.
Vigen was arrested and taken to the Laramie County Detention Center without incident, where he was booked on his warrant.
Bond Set at $1K Cash
Vigen made his initial appearance in Circuit Court the following morning, Jan. 13, during which his bond was set at $1,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 22 at 3:30 p.m.
