
Cheyenne Man Charged With Felony Drug Possession Following Arrest
A 41-year-old Cheyenne man is facing a felony charge after once again being arrested for drug possession.
Undercover Cop Spots Wanted Cheyenne Man
According to booking sheets, an undercover police officer was at the Target at 1708 Dell Range Blvd. around 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, when he spotted Henry Daniel Resler Jr., who he believed had a warrant.
Police say when they ran Resler's name, he came back with a misdemeanor warrant out of Johnson County, Wyoming.
Resler Arrested on Misdemeanor Warrant, Caught With Drug Paraphernalia
Resler was contacted as he left the store and placed under arrest, and while searching him, police reportedly found a pipe with fentanyl residue in his right front pocket.
Resler was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center and booked on his warrant as well as a single count of misdemeanor possession of fentanyl.

Resler Served With Felony Warrant
Then, on Monday, March 10, inmate Resler was served with a felony warrant out of Laramie County Circuit Court for possession of a controlled substance - third or subsequent offense, a felony punishable by up to five years in prison, up to a $5,000 fine, or both.
Judge Sean C. Chambers signed the warrant on Friday, March 7.
Bond Set at $3K Cash
Resler was seen in Circuit Court on the charge on Tuesday, March 11.
His bond was set at $3,000 cash, and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Wednesday, March 19, at 3 p.m.
