Cheyenne Man Accused of Strangling Household Member Posts Bond
A 44-year-old Cheyenne man who was picked up on a warrant after allegedly strangling a household member has been released on bond.
According to a booking sheet, Tyson Lou Grebe was taken into custody at noon on Saturday, Aug. 17 after a police officer, knowing Grebe to be wanted, contacted him in front of a residence.
The officer says Grebe had a warrant for strangulation of a household member - serious injury, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, and misdemeanor domestic battery.
Laramie County Circuit Court Judge Thomas Lee signed the warrant on Aug. 12, 2024.
Grebe was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center and booked without incident.
Cheyenne Man Charged With Strangulation, Domestic Battery Posts $2K Cash Bond
Grebe was seen in Circuit Court on Monday morning, and released from jail after posting a bond of $2,000 cash on Tuesday.
Grebe is scheduled to be back in Circuit Court at 10 a.m. next Tuesday, Aug. 27 for his preliminary hearing.
