Police say the victim told them he was at the gas station to sell a Pokémon card valued at $3,300 to an individual, later identified as Justice Earl Geho.

The victim said he handed the card to Geho, who then left in a car without paying for it.

The victim then received a phone call saying Geho contacted Game Masters at 1612 Central Ave. to sell the card.

Police say they attempted to contact Geho at Game Masters, but he never showed.

They also spoke with another business owner who told them he was familiar with Geho and gave them Geho's name.

Geho Arrested

Geho was arrested at 2:25 p.m., after police located him in the parking lot outside his apartment at Westgate Village Apartments by his car, the same car described by the victim at the gas station.

Police say Geho admitted to being at the Loaf 'N Jug earlier and having the card, which was located inside his car on the passenger seat.

Geho was searched and reportedly had a Ziploc baggie with methamphetamine, a vape pen with THC, and a glass pipe with residue on him.

Geho Charged With Felony Theft, Misdemeanor Drug Possession

Geho was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center without issue and subsequently charged with felony theft, a crime punishable by up to 10 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both, as well as two counts of misdemeanor drug possession.

Geho made his initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court the following afternoon, during which his bond was set at $3,300 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Friday, April 11, at 11 a.m.

Warrant for Burglary

Then, at 5 p.m., inmate Geho was reportedly served with a warrant out of Laramie County Circuit Court for burglary, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both. The warrant was signed the same day by Judge Antoinette Williams.

On Monday, April 7, Geho was seen in Circuit Court on the burglary charge. His bond was set at $3,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Wednesday, April 16, at 2 p.m.

Please remember that all suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
