Traffic Stop Leads to 470 Grams of Meth
According to a booking sheet, Gregorio Guerra was arrested on Feb. 9, 2024, after a Wyoming Highway Patrol sergeant stopped him for failing to maintain his lane of travel and following too close on U.S. 85 in south Cheyenne.

The sergeant reportedly smelled the odor of raw marijuana coming from Guerra's truck, and a subsequent search revealed 21 grams of marijuana and 470 grams (1.04 pounds) of methamphetamine.
The Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation worked with the Western Nebraska Intelligence and Narcotics Group in the investigation and determined Guerra was a methamphetamine distributor in the Scottsbluff, Nebraska area.
Guerra was indicted on May 16, 2024, pled guilty on Oct. 31, 2024, and U.S. District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson imposed the sentence on Jan. 21 in Cheyenne.
Guerra will be subject to four years of supervised release once he's released from prison.
