
Traffic Stop Leads to Felony Drug Charges for Cheyenne Man
A 41-year-old Cheyenne man is facing felony drug charges after he was reportedly caught speeding with methamphetamine in his vehicle.
According to a booking sheet, Brice Ashton Carter was arrested at City Barbers & Stylists at 515 E. Carlson St. Suite 107 at 5:29 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, after the Wyoming Highway Patrol stopped him for speeding.
K-9 Sniff Leads to Felony Amount of Meth
During the stop, a narcotics K-9 was deployed, and the dog reportedly alerted on the vehicle.
The vehicle was then searched, and a felony amount of suspected methamphetamine was reportedly found.
Carter Charged With Felony Possession of Meth, Intent to Deliver
Carter was subsequently charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, a crime punishable by up to seven years in prison, up to a $15,000 fine, or both; and intent to deliver, a felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison, up to a $25,000 fine, or both.

Bond Set at $15K Cash
Carter made his initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court on Monday, March 24, during which his bond was set at $15,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Friday, March 28, at 11 a.m.
