Two women are facing felony charges after Cheyenne police reportedly caught them with methamphetamine.

According to booking sheets, 32-year-old Brooklyn Juanelle Foley and 44-year-old Pamela Y. Huerta, both transients, were arrested at the Subway at 120 N. Greeley Hwy. on the night of Thursday, July 3.

Foley and Huerta were taken to the Laramie County Detention Center and both subsequently charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, a crime punishable by up to seven years in prison, up to a $15,000 fine, or both, and possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, a felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison, up to a $25,000 fine, or both.

Initial Court Appearances

On Tuesday, July 8, Foley and Huerta were seen in Laramie County Circuit Court in front of Judge Antoinette Williams on the charges.

"Ms. Foley has a prior contact for possession of a controlled substance from 2016," the state told the court. "Ms. Huerta does have prior contacts for controlled substances. I see ... 2018 for possession of controlled substances."

"The 2016 ... was dropped and dismissed," Foley told the court. "I haven't been in trouble in over 10 years."

Bonds Set at $7,500 Cash

Williams set Foley's and Huerta's bond at $7,500 cash and ordered them not to have contact with one another.

The two are scheduled to be back in Circuit Court for their preliminary hearings on Friday, July 18, at 9:45 a.m.
