Wyoming goat-tying talent let it shine at the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper. Gillette College’s Haiden Thompson from Yoder, WY won the championship round Saturday night and finished third nationally earning all 145 team points for the Lady Pronghorns. Laramie native McKenna Clingman took just 26 seconds to tie four goats through CNFR week for a lifetime of memories on the way to becoming the 2024 national champion. Clingman is a senior at Colorado Mesa University and a 4-time CNFR qualifier. Thompson has committed to at least one more year on the Gillette College Rodeo team and is a former high school national champion in the event.
