The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service, in its most recent spring snowmelt flooding forecast, says some areas of the state face a low to moderate danger of spring flooding.

The outlook pertains only to the danger posed by snowmelt. Heavy or extended rainfall could push the danger much higher, or cause flooding in areas other than those shown on the map as facing a risk of flooding. A sudden spell of unusually warm weather could also increase the risk.
