Cheyenne Police Seek ‘Safe Cyclist’ Who Stole Bike, Helmet

The Cheyenne Police Department is seeking the public's help in its investigation into a burglary that took place last month.

Officer Kevin Malatesta says a mountain bike was stolen from a home in the 300 block of E. 27th Street around 5 a.m. on Oct. 21.

"The burglar entered a porch at that residence and stole a gray and red Giant XTC 29er bicycle along with a helmet," said Malatesta.

Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call Crime Stoppers Silent Witness at (307) 638-TIPS. Callers will remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
