The Good News Is the Smoke Will Mostly Stay Aloft
The agency posted the following on its website:
Northerly winds today will cause smoke from wildfires in Canada to drift into the north-central part of the country. Impacts are expected to be minimal since smoke will likely stay aloft and not mix down to the surface. However, hazy skies are expected throughout the day as southeast Wyoming and western Nebraska remains under a swath of smoke.
