-Winter Storm Watches have been upgraded to Winter Storm Warnings. Winter Weather Advisories have been issued for adjacent areas.

-Forecast snowfall amounts have increased. Accumulations are expected for ALL of southeast Wyoming & the western Nebraska Panhandle. The Winter Storm Warning highlights areas where 8-12 inches of snow is possible. The Winter Weather Advisory highlights areas where 3-6 inches with locally higher amounts can be expected. An additional 4-8 inches is possible in the snowy/Sierra Madre mountain ranges.

-This is a long-duration event with impacts possible from this evening through mid-day Sunday. The heaviest snow will fall on Saturday and Saturday night.
Confidence in snowfall is MODERATE-HIGH. The primary uncertainty is how far to the southwest the band of heaviest snow will be able to push.
