Cheyenne, Laramie Could Face Large Hail, Damaging Winds This Week
The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service says southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle could see severe thunderstorms on Tuesday and especially on Wednesday.
That includes the possibility of damaging winds and large hail.
Cheyenne and Laramie are both included in the areas that could see the severe weather according to the agency.
Here is the information from the weather service post;
Look for an increase in severe thunderstorm chances after today across parts of southeast Wyoming and Nebraska Panhandle. A Marginal Risk for severe thunderstorms has been identified for the Nebraska Panhandle and southeast Wyoming plains for Tuesday. Large hail and damaging downburst winds are possible with a few of the storms Tuesday. Better chances for severe thunderstorms Wednesday with a Slight Risk area identified across southeast Wyoming and highlighted in yellow on the graphic. Keep an eye on the sky both Tuesday and Wednesday as the weather could be quite active. Stay tuned!
