Cheyenne Regional Medical Center's Injury Prevention program will now serve as the state headquarters for Students Against Destructive Decisions.

SADD started out over three decades ago as Students Against Drunk Driving, but has since broadened it's emphasis to include other forms of dangerous behavior. That especially includes drug or alcohol abuse and violence.CRMC

Injury Prevention Coordinator Stephanie Heitsch will also serve as the state SADD coordinator. Although SADD has had chapters in Wyoming for years, until now it hasn't had a state coordinator.

SADD has over 350,000 members nationally.
