Wednesday's CFD Pancake Breakfast served 13,097 people according to Tim Sheppard of the Cheyenne Kiwanis Club, who is directing the 2013 breakfasts.

Wednesday's breakfast represented an increase of over 5000 breakfasts served compared to Monday's official figure of 7900, according to Sheppard. Wednesday of Cheyenne Frontier Days week is Cheyenne Day and typically draws the largest crowds. Sheppard categorized Wednesday's number as  a ''very strong turnout".

The final free pancake breakfast for CFD 2013 is scheduled for Friday morning from 7-9 am at the Cheyenne Depot Plaza. Sheppard says the planning  for the Cheyenne Frontier Days 2014 Pancake Breakfast will begin soon after. The breakfasts are an annual CFD tradition, presented by the Kiwanis.
