Cheyenne First Responders Battle for Blood

First responders are asking the public to donate blood during the "Battle of the Badges" blood drive Aug. 13-17 in Cheyenne.

Police, firefighters and paramedics are battling to see who can get the most donations on their behalf.

Those wishing to give blood can stop by Vitalant (formerly United Blood Services) at 112 E. 8th Avenue between 9:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Tuesday and between 7:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Donations will also be accepted at the Cheyenne Public Safety Center at 415 W. 18th Street between 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.
