Cheyenne Dad Facing 10 Years After Allegedly Hitting, Biting Teen
A 32-year-old Cheyenne man could face up to 10 years in prison after allegedly hitting and biting his teenage daughter.
According to an affidavit, Zachariah J. Graham got into a physical altercation with his daughter on Aug. 5 while trying to reprimand her and keep her from running out of the house.
Graham reportedly held the girl down on the couch and hit her in the face with his hand, causing a small abrasion on her lip.
He then allegedly bit her on the buttocks twice and once on the shin, leaving marks.
After the girl ran into another room, Graham reportedly told her little brother to bite him on the side of the chest, which the boy said he did.
During the investigation, Graham said he never bit his daughter, but she in fact bit him and showed deputies the marks on his chest.
Graham was arrested and charged with child abuse. He's currently being held in the Laramie County jail on a $3,500 cash bond awaiting arraignment.
