Cheyenne Man Faces Serious Charges in Burglary Conspiracy Case
A 19-year-old Cheyenne man is facing felony charges after allegedly conspiring with another 19-year-old Cheyenne man to commit burglary.
Felony Warrant
According to a booking sheet, police arrested Gregory Damian Beal at his home in the 800 block of West Pershing Boulevard at 4:05 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 12.

Beal was being sought on a warrant out of Laramie County Circuit Court for conspiracy to commit burglary, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both; misdemeanor property destruction, a crime punishable by up to six months in jail, up to a $750 fine, or both; and unlawful entry into an occupied structure, a felony
punishable by up to 10 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both.
The crimes are alleged to have occurred on or about Monday, Sept. 15.
Beal was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center, where he was booked on his warrant and subsequently served with another warrant out of Cheyenne Municipal Court for failure to appear with an original charge of minor in possession.
Initial Court Appearance
On Tuesday, Oct. 14, Beal was seen in circuit court in front of Judge Antoinette Williams on the charges.
Williams appointed Beal a public defender and his preliminary hearing was set for Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 1:30 p.m.
Williams then asked for the state's position regarding bond.
"Mr. Beal has a failure to appear out of municipal court ... from 2025," the state said. "It gives the state concern for his ability to comply with court orders."
"Further, the underlying conduct here, the fact that a gun was involved, gives the state very serious concerns for the safety of the victim in this matter," the state added. "For those reasons, the state believes that a cash bond is appropriate and would request $5,000 cash."
Bond Set at $5K Cash
"Because of the alleged involvement of a firearm, the court is concerned about the safety to the community and will set bond at $5,000 cash," said Williams.
"When the bond conditions are set, the state would request no contact with Clinton Borel ... the co-conspirator," the state added.
According to a booking sheet, police arrested Borel at Beal's home in the 800 block of West Pershing Boulevard at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 16.
Borel was subsequently charged with aggravated assault and battery - threatens to use a drawn deadly weapon, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance in powder or crystalline form.
His case was bound over to Laramie County District Court on Monday, Sept. 29, and he pleaded not guilty to the charges on Monday, Oct. 6.
Please remember that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
