Cheyenne City Councilman Asking for Shoes To Help Homeless
A Cheyenne Councilman asking for new or gently used shoes to be donated for the homeless in town.
Cheyenne City Councilman Richard Johnson is initiating a shoe drive to get 500 pairs of gently used closed-toe shoes donated for the homeless. They are looking for any type of closed toe shoes, such as work boots or tennis shoes. No heels or flip flops.
Donations will be accepted at Anderson Podiatry between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday - Thursday. Anderson Podiatry is located at 1950 Bluegrass Circle suite 150.
