
Denver Man Accused of Passing Forged Checks at Cheyenne Banks
A 67-year-old Denver, Colorado man is facing felony charges in Laramie County after allegedly passing forged checks at two Cheyenne banks.
According to booking sheets, police arrested Dennis Neal Crescentini at Banner Capital Bank at 4007 Greenway St. at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, June 23.
Crescentini was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center, where he was booked on a single count of forgery.

The following day, June 24, police were dispatched to Platte Valley Bank at 3310 N. College Dr. in reference to a check fraud involving Crescentini.
Crescentini was subsequently charged with two separate counts of forgery - utter, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both.
Initial Court Appearances
On Wednesday morning, June 25, Crescentini was seen in Laramie County Circuit Court in front of Judge Antoinette Williams on one of the forgeries.
His bond was set at $5,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Wednesday, July 2, at 9 a.m.
The following afternoon, Crescentini was seen in Circuit Court in front of Judge TJ Forwood on the other forgery charge.
His bond was set at $5,000 cash concurrent to his other case and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for the same time as his other one.
