The agency posted the following on its website: ''After comparitively mild weather over the last week or so, temperatures will return to near average this weekend, and then drop below average next week as another arctic cold front moves through the area. The coldest temperatures are expected on Tuesday or Wednesday. There is still some uncertainty in how long the cold will last, and whether we will still be cold towards the end of next week, or begin moderating on Thursday.''
