Bar Check Leads to Wanted Cheyenne Man’s Arrest
A wanted Cheyenne man is behind bars after being picked up at the bar.
According to a booking sheet, 35-year-old Guy Leeroy Meyer was arrested at the Outlaw Saloon at 11:54 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 28, after a Laramie County Sheriff's deputy spotted him while doing a bar check.

Meyer reportedly had a warrant out of Laramie County Circuit Court for failure to appear on original charges of possession of a controlled substance.
When the deputy patted Meyer down, he reportedly found a small clear zipper bag containing several blue pills he suspected to contain fentanyl and a vile containing a felony amount of suspected methamphetamine.
Meyer was booked into the Laramie County Detention Center on his warrant as well as charges of misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance in pill or capsule form and felony possession of methamphetamine.
As of 11:20 a.m. on Thursday, he had yet to be formally charged.

His bonds were set concurrently at $5,000 cash and his arraignment and preliminary hearing were scheduled for March 8 at 9 a.m.
