Another Wave of Winter Weather Headed For SE Wyoming
The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is warning about the possibility of up to 20 inches of snow in a couple of southeast Wyoming mountain ranges starting this evening.
One to six inches of snow is predicted for lower elevations. The service posted this statement on its website on Tuesday morning:
Winter Storm Warnings go into effect tonight for the Sierra Madre and Snowy Ranges through Thursday morning. Increased snowfall totals of a foot to close to 20 inches possible. With the snow, another shortwave system will impact much of the region with additional snowfall amounts. Those traveling or doing recreational actions may experience issues especially if caught unaware and unprepared. Take the time now to avoid issues later."
