While much of southeast Wyoming is getting a bit of a break from winter weather on Sunday morning, another blast of snow and wind is on the way.

That's according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service. The agency posted the following on its website:

Before the milder pattern takes hold later next week, another round of cold and snow will start off the week. Accumulating snow begins early Sunday over the mountains and later Sunday across the eastern Wyo plains and northern Neb panhandle. Hazardous travel is expected on Monday for those areas.


February 16th, 5:15am - Here’s a breakdown of how much snow can be expected for specific locations! Amounts show total snow accumulation from 11am today through 5pm Monday.


Some of the High Wind Watches have been upgraded to High Wind Warnings. Gusts between 60 and 65 mph are possible in location with a Warning. The remaining Watch locations could see winds around 55 to 60 mph. Blowing snow will be possible in all of these locations, so use caution if driving!
