Afternoon Storms Possible In SE Wyoming This Week
Southeast Wyoming residents can expect a nice day on Monday, followed by unsettled weather and possible afternoon storms the rest of the week.
That's according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service.
The agency posted this statement on its website:
A pretty nice start for the upcoming work week across southeast Wyoming and Nebraska Panhandle. Looking at really nice weather Monday for all areas, though we do have some snow showers beginning to develop over the Snowy and Sierra Madre Ranges. Afternoon showers and storms expected Tuesday from Cheyenne to Elk Mountain Tuesday afternoon and early evening. Isolated to widely scattered afternoon showers and storms possible Wednesday. Better chances for increasing showers and storms the end of the week, as a low pressure system tracks into western Colorado Thursday and eventually into southern Wyoming Friday. Springtime in the Rockies! Stay tuned!
