If you are tired of what seems like the endless cool, wet weather we've been having in southeast Wyoming, you may like this forecast.

The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service says more typical July weather is headed our way starting this weekend and really warming up next week.

The agency posted the following on its website:

 Before we get to the weekend, we will have a chance of showers and thunderstorms today. However, if you have been itching to turn on your AC, we have just the right forecast for you! Daytime highs will reach the 80s and 90s by Sunday, and continue into the middle of next week!

A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 71. North wind 10 to 15 mph becoming east northeast in the afternoon.
Tonight
A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 52. East wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south southeast after midnight.
Saturday
A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some storms could be severe, with damaging winds. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 66. Southeast wind 10 to 15 mph.

A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before midnight. Some storms could be severe, with damaging winds. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 52. Southeast wind 5 to 15 mph becoming southwest after midnight.
