UPDATE 11 a.m. The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service has updated it's forecast for southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle for today.

Original Post The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is warning of severe storms in southeast Wyoming on Wednesday.
The storms could include golf ball size hail, heavy rain and 70 mile-per hour winds. A few tornadoes are also possible.

Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible over much of southeast Wyoming and western Nebraska today. The primary threats with these storms will be large hail up to the size of golf balls, 60 to 70 MPH winds, and heavy rain. A few isolated tornadoes could also be possible, especially in far southeast Wyoming and the southern Nebraska panhandle. Severe storms could starts as early as this afternoon and could continue into the overnight hours, however, the strongest storms will likely be late this afternoon and evening. Be sure to stay up to date on weather information and have nultiple ways to receive severe weather warnings!
