Some changes are expected in the unseasonably warm, mild weather that has been prevalent in southeast Wyoming over the last few days.

That's according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service. The agency posted the following on its website:

''Several High Wind Watches and Warnings are in effect beginning this evening and continuing through Thursday night. Wind speeds of 60 to 65 mph will be possible at times. Those driving lightweight and high profile vehicles will need to be extra cautious especially on north-south oriented roadways. A Winter Weather Advisory is also in effect for the Sierra Madre mountains range until Thursday. 6 to 9 inches of snowfall will be possible in those mountains.''
