Major Cheyenne Intersection To Close Tuesday

The intersection of East 19th Street and Warren Avenue is scheduled to close Tuesday as part of Phase III of the 19th Street reconstruction project.

That's according to City of Cheyenne spokesman Scott Smith, who says the closure is expected to last about three months. He also says detours will be posted.

As part of the project work between Carey and Warren Avenues will include new water lines, sanitary sewer line work along with new manholes, and replacing curbs, gutters and sidewalks as needed.

During the work businesses and homes will have access, according to Smith.
