Last August marked the first horses races to be held in Wyoming for a number of years. Wyoming Downs in Evanston is now adding to the possibility of a horse racing revival is the state. Ownership of the complex has been handed over to real estate broker Eric Nelson who plans to resume live races in 2013.

Eric Nelson previously owned the track but sold it five years ago. He recently bought back the complex at an auction for $450,000.
