If you have any items of children's winter clothing such as coats, hats, scarves, or gloves, please consider donating them to the Cheyenne Frontier Days Public Relations Committee annual COATS FOR KIDS Program.
Please drop off your items at one of the collection points in Cheyenne, which are located at Cheyenne Frontier Days Headquarters, Albertson's on Yellowstone, Albertson's on Pershing, LCCC Foundation Office, Sierra Trading Post and One Hour Cleaners on Randall Avenue. Once received, One Hour Cleaners will wash the items and place them on hangers for the annual give-away. Over the last five years, the COATS FOR KIDS Program has averaged about 1,200 coats per year donated by our community to help children living here.

The sixth annual COATS FOR KIDS Give-Away will be held at the Public Relations Building, located behind the Old West Museum, between 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 26. The building will be open from 9 a.m. to noon for school counselors and school nurses, who come face to face on a daily basis with the most basic needs of our community's children. The general public is welcomed from noon to 4 p.m.
