Average Gas Prices Fall 4 Cents in Wyoming
The average price for a gallon of gas in Wyoming fell sharply last week.
Analysts with GasBuddy.com say the average price for regular unleaded fell just over four cents to $3.48 per gallon last week. Meanwhile, the national average fell just over a penny to $3.37.
GasBuddy.com senior petroleum analyst Patrick DeHaan says the national average is about 40 cents lower than it was a year ago.
DeHaan also says prices could become more volatile in the coming weeks if the federal shutdown continues. He says this is the first week the government will not release its weekly report on supply and demand, which means futures traders could be blind-sighted by unexpected changes.
Gas is selling for as low as $3.19 in Casper, $3.29 in Cheyenne and $3.27 in Laramie.
