For Cheyenne folks running a bit late for work in the morning and wanting their hot latte, Starbucks is working on having that ready for you when you get there. The popular coffee joint is about to allow customers in Cheyenne the opportunity to have their hot cup of "Joe" ready for them when they walk into the store. But not yet.

Later this year, they will debut an app by Square, which makes the mobile payment technology, in Portland Oregon and is to be rolled out nationally by 2015. That includes those of us here in Cheyenne.

This comes into light as there seems to be a high demand for online payment by customers. Mobile payments are projected to reach 3.5 billion in 2014, and it is forecast to soar to $118 billion annually within four years.

So the day is coming when you can order your drink on line and have it ready for pick-up by the time you arrive to your favorite coffee place in Cheyenne.
