One of the stars of what is one of the most popular shows on television right now is going to be the Grand Marshal of an upcoming Wyoming parade this summer. Given the region and name of the show, it's only fitting that the particular show mentioned is 'Yellowstone'.

It was announced on Monday (April 18th) that actor Cole Hauser, now well known for playing the beloved character Rip Wheeler on 'Yellowstone', will be the Grand Marshal for a big summer parade in Wyoming. That parade is the Cody Stampede Parade on July 4th.

While we wish Cole could definitely make an appearance closer in Cheyenne or Laramie, it's still pretty cool to see one of the stars of arguably the biggest TV show right now as the Grand Marshal for a parade in the Cowboy State.

Of course, just last week, it was announced that the Grand Marshal for this year's Cheyenne Frontier Parades is General Anthony Cotton.

In a role that he will probably be synonymous with for the rest of his career, Cole Hauser already has a steady resume of movies that maybe you wouldn't realize he was previously in. Such big movies in his career include Dazed and Confused, Good Will Hunting, Pitch Black, 2 Fast 2 Furious, School Ties, The Break-Up, A Good Day to Die Hard, Olympus Has Fallen, among others.

And who knows? Maybe we'll be graced with the presence of some of that all-star cast from 'Yellowstone' at this year's CFD. Given the fact they spend plenty of time out west (albeit in Montana), perhaps they want to come down and spend some time in Cheyenne for the festivities for a day or two (or a week).

Four Cheyenne Frontier Days Grand Parades again marched through downtown Cheyenne in 2021, to the delight of thousands of onlookers.

At the parades (July 27, 29, 31), there was an endless array of marching bands, floats, riders on horseback, horse-drawn wagons, and other exhibits too numerous to mention.

The parades alternate with the Frontier Days Pancake Breakfasts which happened on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings of CFD week (July 26, 28, 30) at the Cheyenne Depot Plaza.
