Wyoming State House Race Shows Margin of 1 Vote
Who says every vote doesn't matter?
It's not official yet, but results from Tuesday's GOP Primary election in Wyoming House District 41 show Bill Henderson defeating Patrick Fitzgerald by 1 vote.
The margin was 583 to 582.
Under Wyoming law any race that finishes with a margin of victory of 1 percent or less automatically triggers a recount. The Henderson-Fitzgerald race obviously qualifies.
A second recount is likely in State Senate District 6, where Anthony Bouchard edged Dave Zwonitzer by four votes, 1,137 to 1,134 in the Republican primary.
