Kevin Christensen Says He Won’t Endorse Chuck Gray

The candidate who finished third in the 2026 GOP Primary Election for the U.S. House says he doesn't plan to endorse the winner of the primary election, Chuck Gray.

Kevin Christensen finished third in the August 18th election with 18 percent of the vote. Gray won with just under 25 percent, and Steve Friess took second place with a little over 20 percent.

Christensen Nixes Write-In Effort

Christensen took to Facebook on Monday to post the following:

"I have had a lot of supporters asking me to initiate a write-in campaign. I truly appreciate the encouragement but have determined that a name like "Kevin Christensen" just doesn't work as a write in candidate. That is sixteen characters long and sixteen opportunities to get a mismatch that would not get counted. After much consideration I felt that I could not endorse Mr Gray either. I will post a more detailed editorial video in the next day or so why I came to that determination. I also hope to announce later this week my recommendation for this office. Stay tuned!"

Gray, who is currently Wyoming's Secretary of State, faces Democratic nominee Lisa Kinney, Libertarian Shawn Johnson and independent candidate Daniel J. Workman on November 3.

Wyoming is one of the most heavily Republican states in the nation and has not sent a Democrat to Congress since Teno Roncalio of Rock Springs won the seat in 1976.
