Wyoming Man, Convicted as Accessory to Murder, Dies in Prison

A Wyoming man who had been serving a life sentence in connection to a murder case died in prison on Sunday, the Wyoming Department of Corrections announced.

John B. Miller, also known as "Bulldog," was 63. An autopsy has been ordered in accordance with departmental policy.

Miller died of a long-term illness, which spokesman Mark Horan did not detail in a news release. Miller had been serving his sentence at the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution in Torrington.

Convicted as an accessory before the fact to first-degree murder, Miller was sentenced out of Laramie County in October 1986.
