A combination of snow and blowing snow is expected to impact travel around the region tonight and tomorrow.

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for central Laramie County from 11:00 p.m. tonight to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

The area is expected to pick up 3 to 5 inches of snow which, along with gusty winds, will make for slick roads and possible whiteout conditions.

Those heading west on I-80 should be extremely cautious, as conditions will deteriorate the further west you go.

Motorists are encouraged to check the latest road conditions before heading out.
