Winter Storm Closes I-80 Between Cheyenne And Laramie
As of 1:30 p.m., Interstate 80 was closed between Cheyenne and Laramie due to a high number of crashes caused by a winter storm that has rocked the area.
That's according to the WYDOT Road and Travel information website.
The website says that the estimated opening time is unknown as of 1:19 p.m. At the last report, the rest of I-80 in Wyoming was open, although most areas were reporting slick conditions.
Snow Continuing, More Closures Possible
The same was true for all of Interstate 25 in the Cowboy State. But that could change as snow continues to fall across the region.
