Wind, Snow, Bone-Chilling Cold Weather To Blast Southeast Wyoming
It's January in Wyoming. and the weather forecast for the next few days reflects that.
Snow? Check. Strong Winds? Yup, up to 65 miles per hour. Cold weather? Only if you consider temperatures of -15 to -20 cold.
It's all there, although thankfully, not necessarily all at once. But it's headed our over the next few days, according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service.
First in line is the wind. The agency posted this on its website:
Next up, it's snow that should start arriving on Friday:
Snow Timeline ➔ Develops early Friday morning in the mountains and toward central Wyoming ➔ Overspreads the rest of the forecast area during the day, with the bulk of the accumulation occurring during the afternoon and evening hours ➔ Tapers early Saturday with a few snow showers remaining near the Colorado border ➔ Additional snow shower activity possible Sunday into early Monday
Then for the main event....cold weather. Really...really...cold
