Why People Travel To Wyoming To Buy Fireworks [VIDEO]

Most states have very strict fireworks laws that just suck the fun out of a good old fashion 4th of July, backyard, fireworks display.

That is why so many people travel to Wyoming. They want to get their hands on what they can't buy in their own state.

In this video a Wyoming fireworks store manager from Phantom Fireworks in Cheyenne talks about folks driving from as close as Colorado, but also all the way from New Mexico, Arizona, even down from North Dakota. He says that up to 90% of his costumers are from out of town.

These out of state shoppers know about the fines and the jail time they might face by possessing some of these Wyoming fireworks, but they are willing to take that chance. Each year the store explodes with out of state visitors just before the 4th.
