The Wyoming Department of Transportation says it will likely be Thursday evening before Interstate 80 reopens.

Currently, the eastbound lanes are closed from Evanston to exit 83 (La Barge Road) and both lanes are closed between exit 111 (Airport and Baxter Roads) and Laramie due to winter conditions.

The westbound lanes from Cheyenne to Laramie are closed due to rolling closure.

A no unnecessary travel advisory is also in effect for westbound I-80 between mile marker 57 (the Sweetwater/Uinta County line) and exit 66 (Granger Junction), and black ice advisories are in effect between exit 83 (La Barge Road) and exit 111 (Airport and Baxter Roads).

WYDOT says crews will reevaluate conditions Thursday morning.
