Of the ten largest cities in America, the only two with an average one bedroom rental rate under $1,000 per month are Houston ($625) and Detroit ($457). Here in Cheyenne, this 900 square foot one bedroom, one bath apartment, which includes a balcony, storage space, clubhouse and playground ranges from $460 - $530.

When it comes to cost of living, the only large U.S. city that compares to Cheyenne is Detriot. And, take our word for it, you don't want to live in Detroit.
